Bank Holiday Calendar Uk

Dates for the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials 2011 have been extended, adding an additional days shopping and competition to the start of the event. The event will now officially start on Thursday 21st April with exhibitors opening their stands on first inspection day for the first time.

Due to a packed international event calendar, clashes with Rolex Kentucky CCI****, and TV scheduling contractual commitments this means Badminton runs over the Easter weekend in 2011. The final day of the Mitsubishi Motors Grassroots Championship will also run on this Thursday giving spectators a chance to see many of the best amateur riders tackle a specially built cross country course in a bid to be crowned Grassroots Champion 2011 before the formalities of the main event get underway with the first horse inspection.

Hugh Thomas explained, "The reasons for this date are related to the international eventing calendar, in that it would be impossible for us to clash with the 4 star event in Kentucky, who cannot move in 2011 because of other longstanding commitments in Kentucky Horse Park. We are committed by our international TV contract to finish broadcasting on a...

First Commerce Community Bank

Commerce Bank will build a new community bank headquarters in El Dorado, which nearly 16 years ago was the Missouri banking company's entry into the Wichita area.

"We're very excited about this opportunity, and we're in facilities now that aren't as efficient in dealing with customers the way we want to deal with them," said Mark Utech, El Dorado community bank president for the $17.8 billion, Kansas City-based bank.

Utech said the bank hopes to begin construction later this summer, though the bank hasn't selected a general contractor for the planned 5,200-square-foot building. The new building will have safe-deposit boxes, four drive-through teller lanes and a drive-up ATM.

Howard and Helmer Architecture designed the building, which shares an appearance similar to Commerce's downtown Wichita branch, at 456 N. Main.

Utech would not say what the expected cost of the new building is, saying "we're making a significant investment in our El Dorado market."

Completion is expected in early summer 2011, he said.

The new building will replace Commerce's only full-service branch in El Dorado.

The building...

Banksia Pod

John.. I do not understand "stringy"...I have turned some and hollowed as well. It has been my experience that they turn very nice once you get by the outer crust and "velvet". Just like any other wood...use sharp tools. Turns and sands like normal. I get some very nice effects, depending on the orientation of the pod and if any, what I fill the seed holes with. Play with it, and you will be pleasantly rewarded with some really nice results!!
Winter is a beautiful time of year here in the sub tropics of Australia. The nights are cool and brisk, but the days are sunny, clear, and warm ( about mid twenties in celsius degrees). I love this time of year, no humidity and it often feels like we have skipped winter, and gone from Autumn directly to spring. This is my morning view.

At least when I look out my window, I see the beautiful specimens of Wattle ( Acacia species ) and Banksia Giant Candles). Banksia plants come in many varieties and were named about the Botanist on board Cook's ship the Endeavour when it discovered the East coast of Australia in 1770. Banks and his colleagues made many drawings on these glorious plants, and thus were named ...
